Helping patients overcome obstacles

When a patient with hearing loss wasn’t taking her medication as prescribed, a pharmacist helped her get back on track.

Through the use of a sign language interpreter, Katie Stagner, RPh, was able to communicate with a patient with hearing loss and find out what was keeping her from taking her medication. Together, they came up with a plan moving forward.
