National Benchmarking Study of Pharmacogenetic Testing for WarfarinAuthors: E. J. Stanek, C. L. Sanders, G. Hawk, F. W. Frueh, M. Pacanowsi, I. Zineh, L. Lesko, R. S. Epstein In 2007, 1.58/100 of new warfarin users had a Pgx test, with younger patients more likely to be tested. In 2008, the testing rate was 1.71/100. We report a national benchmark of warfarin PGx testing and anticipate that this number may increase as additional clinical outcome studies are completed.
