 Eric Stanek, PHARM.DVice President of Research, Medco Research Institute, LLCMedco Health Solutions, Inc. Eric Stanek is Vice President of Research and Head of the Intramural Clinical Research department in the Medco Research Institute. In this role, he leads Medco’s expanding research efforts in personalized medicine and pharmacy practice research, with responsibility for clinical trials, quality improvement initiatives, health economics and outcomes research, and retrospective database analyses. Dr. Stanek has over 20 years combined experience in healthcare research (clinical, health economics and outcomes, pharmacoepidemiology), education, and clinical practice. Prior to joining Medco, Dr. Stanek headed the Clinical Applied Science department of the Medical Affairs division at Kos Pharmaceuticals, where he lead all efforts on investigator-initiated clinical research, health economics and outcomes research, medical publication development, and scientific competitor intelligence. |
