Amy Steinkellner is the National Practice Leader for the Medco Women’s Health Therapeutic Resource Center. In this role, Steinkellner is responsible for enhancing the practice of the pharmacy care specifically for women. This includes leadership and training oversight of Medco’s women’s health specialist pharmacists and research activities. A passionate advocate for addressing the unique challenges facing women and families, she is a member of the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals, the North American Menopause Society, and the American Society for Health Systems Pharmacists. She also serves as a Clinical Instructor for the University of Florida and University Wisconsin Schools of Pharmacy. Steinkellner has more than 14 years of experience in clinical pharmacy benefit management, and in her most recent position, she was Vice President of Clinical Services for Medco's Systemed division, where she set the strategic direction, goals and objectives for the clinical management of more than 700 clients covering 4 million lives. Steinkellner received her doctorate in pharmacy from Mercer University and completed a residency at the University of Wisconsin Center for Drug Policy and Clinical Economics.
